Hi there,

You can click on the Highlight Fields button on the document message bar to turn the light blue background on or off.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
where is that button located?
Expert:  Pete replied 1 year ago.

The button is on the document message bar.

It looks like a box with three blue lines in it.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I attached my screen shot photo because I couldn't find the document message bar. please se the photo and tell me the location of that button. for example, top right corner or lower left corner etc. thanks

Hi,

Thanks for the screenshot.

I cannot see the icon as a shortcut on your toolbar, so you will have to go through the menus:

Go to Edit - Preferences - Forms, and you can untick the 'Highlight color' option, or set the color to white.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I found it and figured out how not to show. but how do you move the blue layer? I moved some lines but couldn't move the blue layer to go with.
Expert:  Pete replied 1 year ago.

Hi there,

That particular error code is not recognized.

Can you please check the error code again and confirm it?

Attach a photo of the error if possible.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
No, there is not error code. I can select text boxes and able to move them but I wasn't able to select the blue layers so I couldn't move it
Expert:  Pete replied 1 year ago.

Hi

You will need to ensure you select the entire object before moving it.

Or possibly the layer is locked in the layer pane.

It depends how the form was originally created.

Let me know if you would like remote assistance, or send some screenshots if you need further clarification.

Added a screen shot. I was able to move text boxes but wasn't able to select the blue layer to move. it's not selectable.
Expert:  Pete replied 1 year ago.

Are any layers locked in the layer panel?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
How do I check to see if locked? I don't think I locked it on purpose but...
Expert:  Pete replied 1 year ago.

You can check if the layer is locked on the layer pane, normally on the left side of the screen - each layer will have a locked or unlocked padlock against it.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I was able to find the layer pane but most are greyed out. and I don't see lock option.
Expert:  Pete replied 1 year ago.

Ok, I will open this question up to the other experts to see if they have any idea on why the blue layer won't move.
