I want to install Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Design Premium on my Mac Air so far everything I have tried comes back with same Inconsistency in the Installer database. Please restart your Computer and install again. I have tried the MACCS5 CleanUpTool. I also tried to find in Library the caps or backup nothing there. Frustrated because I would like to avoid paying for Adobe Cloud and install this CS5on my computer. It may have some old files but I cannot find anything.

Hi there,

When you get to the page of the installation that asks you to choose a product to install, make sure you click the blue PS icon.

At the bottom of this page, hit the "Browse" icon and change the directory from "/Applications" to "/Applications/Adobe".

You should now see the installer initialize correctly without the error message.

Tried that already did not work either but then I am not sure a blue PS icon just Photoshop

remove the files which did not exist of /Library/Application Support/backup
/Library/Application Support/Adobe caps
Did the phone payment go through and can you call me? Or have to work this way?
