Can you try to do a system restore and/or uninstall/reinstall Google Chrome?

- Click Start->All programs->Accessories->System Tools->System Restore and restore the computer to any date before this issue has occurred, then check Chrome.

- If that does not work, restart the computer, then click on Start\Control Panel\Programs\Programs and Features, and uninstall the Google Chrome program there
