Open Terminal in Applications / Utilities copy and paste this line then hit Return:

rm ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.finder.plist

then restart and set the view options and see if they stick this time

Are you using the Google Drive Application? If so the settings that was default on the Operating System.

Google drive folder has nothing to do about it. So if you need to change Windows 10 file explorer view please follow the instructions on this tutorial:
