Customer Question

In my session with you on March 29, I noted that I m getting messages that say, "Blocked plug in", in every instance when I attempt to get a sound track and illustration of the subject. In other words, none of my flash drives were working. Now I am having
the same problem. In the latest instance, when I typed in the request to be updated, the Flash drive it said I needed is already in my list of Flash drives. I must have over one hundred of them when I hit the icon on my Dashboard. So I seem to be back to the
same problem.

Hi!
Can you tell me the exact version of OS X you are currently running, please?
Click the Apple logo in the menu bar at the top left of the screen
Select "About This Mac"
In the window that opens, look for the "Version" information. Please let me know what it says.
Thanks,
John

Is that enough info or do you need more?

Thanks! Please go to the test page below. Can you see the animated movie under section 5? Also, what version does it show is installed under section 1 (Click "Check Now", if needed)? http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/find-version-flash-player.html John

Ok, Okay, first use the uninstaller from this link below:http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/support/uninstall_flash_player_osx.dmg When the uninstaller has been downloaded and you run it successfully to completion, you should download the latest version of Adobe Flash player from here: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ Click the Install Now button. The download will be named similar to “AdobeFlashPlayer_17_osx.dmg" and will be stored in your downloads folder or desktop. You will need to double-click it to open the disk image if Safari does not do this for you. Inside, you should find the "Install Adobe Flash Player.app" installer. Double-clicking this should start the installer and load the latest version of Flash onto your system. You must complete the install after the download. If the install seems to complete without errors, go to the test page below. Can you see the animated movie under section 5? Also, what version does it show is installed under section 1 (Click "Check Now", if needed)? http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/find-version-flash-player.html John
