I am trying to register my Pinnacle 16 studio 16 ultimate. the answer I get is incorrect serial number I ordered it on line. My name is XXXXX XXXXX the serial number on the box is XXXXXXX. OK, well understand that it's not at all uncommon for these large software corporations to "mistakenly" send out media with missing numbers, keys and such. Fortunately, since you actually purchased the software from Pinnacle/Corel, you should be able to retrieve the serial number or a replacement number from Pinnacle/Avid. However, you will likely have to "manually" go through support , and this may take some time (as in more than one day) to process. Before you go through the manual option, please try this link just to CHECK to see if Pinnacle has any records of serial numbers tied to your email address. Here is the link. Put in your email address that you believe would most likely be tied to your account, and submit. Give the site time to respond. Note that if you received this "advertisement" through your registered mail with Pinnacle, then I would try using that email to check:http://apps.pinnaclesys.com/cdb/register/getserialnumbers.aspxIf you are ultimately unsuccessful with the automated option, then go the manual route.The instructions are below for an unregistered product, and the support address to send the request to.
