Cause
The 12152 error usually refers to a generic network problem which has caused your download to disconnect or fail. Wait a few minutes and try your download again. If you are still unable to download and install, it is possible the McAfee download is being blocked by a previously installed, incompatible third-party product.

Download and run MCPR.exe and the Preinstall tool:

I think I know what happen. As I remember, I was able to get the software
downloaded. As I said before, My computer is on a dialup system with my
internet provider, People PC. Com. As you know, a dialup system takes longer
to download software. About two hours or so, an error message came up saying
that the software could not be downloaded. My internet protector is McAfee. They
are having the same problem with my system. I receive web-sites and e-mail. With
this new information, can you or one of your experts help me. I feel at this time the
problem is a McAfee/Just Answer problem holding up the software download. See

I just got home from work. I have a feeling that McAfee windows security from 2011
which is expired now may be the thing that is holding up the show. I could be wrong
but I feel that somthing on that line may be the problem. Let's see what the

I have another idea. Is there a way that my current McAfee 1-year AntiVirus Plus subscription and put it together with the AntiVirus software and see if it can be downloaded some way into my computer and fix the McAfee problem. What do you think about that.

I think I have an answer for you regarding the software download problem. It seems that I'm having a intermitting windows crash problem. I had that same problem in march and i took the tower to the computer repair shop to have the windows crash problem repaired. Thursday evening the crash problem started in again. Yesterday I called the repair shop and told them that the windows still have a crash problem. I'm going to bring the tower back to the repair shop tomorrow. As soon as I get the tower back from the repair shop, I will try to download the software again. I will let you know what happens. In the meantime tell your Experts about this crash problem. It may have somthing to with the software download problem. Thank you.
