Customer: I am receiving Social Security payments via direct deposit into my bank here in the US, however, my children live in the UK and I want to know if I could direct deposit into my bank in the UK

If you are a U.S. citizen, you may continue to receive payments outside the United States as long as you are eligible for payment and you are in a country where SSA can send payments. The UK is one of those countries. SSA will simply continue your payments as the UK is one of the countries that enables this. See SSA link: https://www.ssa.gov/pubs/EN-05-10137.pdf
