I'm receiving s/s with a younger wife. If she takes spousal benefits @ full retirement age, will she switch to spousal bebefir when I die?

Did you possibly mean, " ... switch to SURVIVOR benefits...?"

If that's the question, yes, once you pass ... IF the survivor benefit would be higher ... SSA will pay her a combination of the two benefits that takes her UP TO the higher benefit.

Although the various benefits (worker's own record, spousal, survivor, dependent, etc.) can't be "stacked," as Social Security calls it, they will always raise the benefit if one becomes eligible, and will never DECREASE the benefit just becasue someone passed.
