I am 72 yrs. old and I work for a trucking co.in simpsonville sc. Driving a trk. Ian having a lot of med. problems and I would like to know if I can get disability along wit my social security.

For example someone who is on Social Security disability (SSDI) is automatically converted to Social Security retirement at full retirement age (age 66 for those born between 1943 And 1954).

Now, you may be eligible for worker's comp or some sort od disability through the employer ... but again, so sorry, once can only receive one social security benefit at a time (they will allwyas take you to the higher benefit (say you were on spousal and then became eligible for a benefit on your own wok record) ... but again, benefits can't be "stacked," as soocial secuity calls it.
