Hi. My name is ***** ***** I will be happy to help you.

If you die first, your spouse may be eligible for surviving benefits. The amount can be up to 100% of your benefits depending on when your spouse first applied or will apply for any of social security benefits.

How old is she? She could receive reduced survivor benefits as soon as 60 (50 if disabled) but to get 100% of your benefits she needs to wait until her full retirement age to apply for any type of social security benefits.
