Social Security Questions? Ask a Social Security Expert
Hi. My name is ***** ***** I will be happy to help you.
It depends on your date of birth. Your monthly benefits will slightly increase, by 8% to be exact. The longer you wait the larger your monthly benefits will be. At your full retirement age you get 100% of your benefits. If you claim your benefits before your full retirment age, you will get less.
Here's a link to SS benefits calculator. https://www.ssa.gov/OACT/quickcalc/early_late.html
Enter your birthday and when you want to get your benefits to calculate the percentage.
