Hi,...If you are full retirement age or older, you will receive $1689 (specifically SSA pays you an amount that takes your benefit up to what je was receiving - again, if you are full retirement age when the husband passes)...If you were receiving more you will get no addition....So here, if you ARE full retirement age, you will receive $1689
