Customer Question

Hi, I have Humana PPO. I am 60 and receive SSI. I am seeing an orthopedic surgeon that is in network, but not PP. I have been billed $300 for services in March, which amounted to two cortisone shots for bursitis in both shoulders due to walking on a walker from bone cancer. My orthopedic surgeon for the last 28 years has retired, and Dr. ERic Janssen was recommended to me. HE is with SPORTSMED on Whitesburgh Drive, in Huntsville, AL. My question is, if Humana only pays a small portion of my medical bill, will SSI pick up under my Part B coverage?

They should pick up under medicare or Medicaid.
