Well, if you have your Social Security Statement that you receive periodically from the Social Security Administration that projects your benefit at your full retirement age, at 62 you would receive approximately 70% of that benefit. If you don't have that statement, you can go online at, open an account and get the projections yourself; you will have the opportunity to enter your projected income between the present time and your retirement and get a projected benefit; if you are entitled to a spousal benefit which would be 50% of your spouse's benefit, if you were to collect that at age 62, you would receive 70% of that 50% benefit also or 35% of your spouse's full benefit;
