Customer Question

I'm retiring in about september or october of this year. I am not self-employed. I was born on december 4, 1952. Although I'm retiring this year, I will still have earnings of about $75,000. My last social security statement that came in the mail said that my full (age 66) payment would be about $2,631. At age 62 it would be about $2,049. If I applied for benefits in may of this year, how much would I receive?

Hi, when you say retiring, do you mean leaving work OR do you mean collecting Social Security Retirement?
