This is for informational purposes only and does not establish an attorney client relationship.

When you die, as long as you and your wife remain married or have been married over 10 years. Your wife will received a 100% portion of your benefits. Again, this benefit and her normal retirement benefit do not stack. Social Security will give her the her normal retirement benefit and the Survivor benefit based upon your retirement benefits. At her age this will be 100%. So to answer your question, yes she will receive a Survivor benefit even if you happen to be divorced before your death.

Please let me know if you have any further questions and please positively rate my answer if satisfied. There should be smiley faces or numbers from 1-5 to choose from.
