Does ss cover dentistry

Social Security and Medicare only cover reconstructive surgery such as that needed after an accident. Dentistry is NOT otherwise covered. If Social Security is your only source of income you may be eligible for Medicaid which does cover dentistry and carries no cost to you. You will need to contact your local Social Services office to make that determination since the rules vary from state to state as to who is eligible.
