I am drawing SS disability on what I have paid in over the

Customer Question

I am drawing SS disability on what I have paid in over the years but I am also entitled to survivor's benefits. Currently I receive $170 a month. The rules outline that I should be drawing .711% of my late husband's social security as were married just
shy of 20 years. He was drawing around $1500 a month. Can you provide any insight? His SSN was###-##-####***** ***** Perdue Jr.

Hi, can you tell me how old you are?

Also, have you applied for survivor benefits yet?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I am 53 years old, will turn 54 on Dec.7th and currently draw $170 in survivor's benefits.

Can you clarify? You indicate you are on Social Security disability, but then you say survivors.

Were you ever on SSDIB on your own work record? Did you have a work record with SSA?
