I WAS MARRIED 39 YEARS WHEN I DIVORCED. I AM NOW 83 & MY EX WIFE IS 73. WE BOTH BEGAN TO RECEIVE RTIREMENT BENEFITS AT AGE 62. IS SHE ENTITLED TO RECEIVE AN AMOUNT EQUAL TO 50% OF WHAT I RECEIVE?

If 1/2 of your benefit is greater than her benefit, that's what she will receive. However, if her benefit is greater than 50% of your benefit she will not get a benefit off your account.
