My Social Security Birth date and Medicare Birth date do not

Customer Question

My Social Security Birth date and Medicare Birth date do not match.
I need to get this corrected; can I get a document from Social Security
that shows my birth date? I do not have a copy of my birth certificate,
I was born in Monterrey, Mexico and I am an American Citizen.
Thank you....... Hector Espinoza ###-##-#### ***** 07-02-1923 *****,

Hi. Hector. My name is ***** ***** I will be happy to help you.

Your naturalization certificate and also your US passport should have a correct date of birth. Any government issued document with your date of birth (including your driver's license) is acceptable if you don't have your birth certificate. Social security and Medicare are closely linked, so you will most likely be asked to provide unrelated government issued document to verify your date of birth.
