Customer Question

Several months ago I bought a lift chair from a medical supply store and was told by the sales clerk that Social Security would reimburse for the cost of the motor in the chair. That was in May. I heard nothing from SSA. So, at the beginning of July I called the store where I made the purchase. I was told there had been "a glitch" in their computer and it apparently did not go through. The Insurance lady told me she would re-send the purchase info and reimbursement form again. This was on (or around) the 7th od July. I still have not received a reimbursement check on the cost of the motor.
I receive SSA Retirement.
Can you shed any light on this for me? I would appreciate some guidance.
Thank you,
