When I pass away the only income my wife will have is her SS which is only $850 per month. What can we do to assure her future. My SS is also on!y $850 per month.

Thanks for your question. Please note that upon the passing of one spouse, the survivor spouse is only entitled to receive the higher of the two benefits which would be $850 as you both receive the same amount. So you cannot depend on SS to increase her income. Sorry. thanks for understanding.
