Customer Question

Both my wife and I have Social Security numbers. Presently, we both live in the Dominican Republic. We are both 65 and older. We have Humana as our health provider. How can we apply/get Medicare? We know that Medicare does that provide for people who live outside of the United States. We would use Medicare when we are in the United States.

If you are not a legal US permanent resident or a US Citizen, or do not have the required 40 work credits you would not be able to obtain medicare, also medicare will only cover medical issues while in the US.
