My step daughter had a child out of wedlock to a young who recencly passed away. My grandaughter gets a surviors check for her father Soc Sec. Is my Step daughter the mother entitled to any benifits under soc sec. as they were not married but had live together for several years. she is the primary caretake of my granddaughter.
