However, we do not have access to Social Security's computer system or your personal information. That being said we can guide you to where you need to be.

If you want to check the status of your case and you have a confirmation number from Social Security from your application, you can do so online here: https://secure.ssa.gov/apps6z/IAPS/applicationStatus

You will enter your social security number and the confirmation number you were given when you submitted your application. You should allow at least 5 days between filing your application and checking status.

If you do not have your confirmation number, then you can call 1-800-772-1213 or go to your local Social Security office so that they can assist you with this.
