Customer: I bought a PRIV and have a classic. I need to transfer info from Classic to PC to then transfer to PRIV, correct?
JA: What's the make/model of your device? How old is it?
Customer: Classic
JA: How long has this been going on? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: I didn't try anything yet .... I just need it done quickly now as I didn't know that I had to go through this process.
JA: Anything else you want the smartphone expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: However, i downloaded Bberry 10 Desktop Software Setup, it was downloaded and when i click Install nothing happens.

So you have the BB file downloaded but it will not open to install, correct? Are you getting an error message? Also do you know what version of windows your computer is running?(win 7, vista, 10)

I think it is a setting issue within windows but I will have to check windows compatibility with the program. While I do so can you ... no I am just helping you

Go to the downloaded file please. Right click on it and navigate to properties.I have to keep coming back to this page each time you message me so it is greatly extending my research time.

With in properties go into compatibility and check run as administrator. Than try running the program.
