Hi, thank you for contacting JustAnswer.com. My name is Russell. I will do my best to provide the right answer to your question.
I think there may be a way to cure the problem. But to be quite sure of my answer, first, please tell me in Reply To Expert, what maker and model your phone is.
OK. An iPhone 6.
That's a problem with Touch ID, obviously.
I'm looking up ways to deal with the problem...
If the system asked if you wanted a phone call service, ignore it. It's OK not to call....
I presume that your code is not working as well as the touch ID not working.
What message is now on the phone? is it locked, in the sense of having registered too many sign-in failures?
Try wiping off the fingerprint sensor on your iPhone.
Wipe your fingerprint fingertip also.
Then try it again, once.
What message is now on the phone (after you try your finger, after wiping sensor and fingertip) ?
I'm glad to hear that the problem was fixed, by whatever means.
