I'm trying to unlock my daughter's phone and I don't know her password. She passed away last july 5 in an accident I would like to see if she has any pictures text messages etc that may help us figure out what happened.

It is normally not possible to access the phone without a password ***** pin. The usual remedy is to do a factory reset on the phone. However, this will wipe clean all the personal data that you are attempting to recover. Are you able to use the keypad at all?

No I turn it on and it asks me to enter the password. I can't believe with all the technology there is that it can't be unlocked without losing anything.

I have been researching the issue to find a unique solution. One suggestion that I found was to call AT&T Customer Care and ask them if they can unlock the phone for you. I apologize for the fact that I cannot be of more help.

Ok ty. I guess I could give that a try but I've been to at&t and they have said they couldn't help. It's just so dissapointing call it mother's intuition or idk I just feel there is something that could help us on there.

The agents on the telephone are more knowledgeable than the staff in the stores, because the former are predominantly trained for service and the latter for sales.
