My email account suddently stopped working on my iphone but still works on my computer. Any idea why?
Optional Information: Computer OS: Windows 7 Browser: Other Already Tried: cancelling account and reinstalling and also turning phone off then on again

Hi Thomas - the email account is with aol.com. I'm not sure what you mean by default email app or third party app. All I know is that my email was working on boh my computer and my iphone up until 11/07/12 when it stopped working on my iphone,
11/07/12 hasn't happened yet, so I'm assuming you meant 07/11/12. Is this problem with sending or receiving mail, or both?
I live in England so 11/07/12 means July 11th. The problem is in both sending and receiving email. I get a message on my iphone that says my username or password XXXXX XXXXX But I have not changed anything and the username and password XXXXX works on my pc
That is very strange. Typically when a device tells you that the password XXXXX XXXXX it is wrong. Have you tried changing it?
I have tried to delete the account, then turn off the phone and then restart and enter the email account again but this did not work
Visit AOL.com and change your email password, then delete the account, restart the phone and enter the information with the new password. Let me know if it doesn't work.
