Hi, my iPhone just died! It was on the side, fully charged

Hi, my iPhone just died! It was on the side, fully charged working fine, when I went to check for emails the screen was black, it will not turn on and if I plug it in the recharge nothing happens! Help, I am going away on Tues and this is my only way of communicating. I recently downloaded iCloud and iTunes.

Already Tried:
Plugging in, the screen is totally unresponsive. I plugged in to the PC but it can't locate the device as it is not producing any power

iPhone is essentially a small computer, sometimes can be frozen or unresponsive and keep you from using the phone for anything else.
Don't panic, there are several procedures that can fix this problem.

Please follow the steps below:
A. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least 25 seconds (until the Apple logo appears).

B. If that doesn't work, charge your phone for 10 minutes then repeat the previous procedure.
