Customer Question

I purchased the LG Lucid 4G phone as my first smartphone about a month ago and I am STILL unhappy with its poor communication with my AOL email account. the basic email app almost always fails to find new AOL emails, and if I go to my emails via AOL.com on my browser app it gets lost or jammed quite often and my only option is to restart my phone. ARE THERE KNOWN PROBLEMS BETWEEN LUCID AND AOL?

restarting phone multiple REFRESH cycles on email app accessing email via AOL.com on browser app

OK, thank you Joel. As you have AOL, please use the AOL Mail application for Android. You can download it going here from your computer -----> http://mobile.aol.com/apps/Android/ <===== CLICK HERE

Then click "Send to my Phone" UNDER "AOL MAIL", enter your phone number and click Send.

Then you will receive a message on your phone with a link, click that link and download the AOL Mail application.

Then try to check your AOL account from that application and it shoud work fine.

I cordially request that you do not take a correct answer as a bad or poor answer.

Please ONLY select "Good or Excellent Service" below (and then click Submit) so I can get a positive feedback in justanswer.com. If you are not ready to do so, click "REPLY TO EXPERT"

Thanks John-- seems to work better..! The link didn't exactly guide me to a downloadable 'AOL mail app' for Android but it does seem to lead to a portal which behaves sufficiently well to get my AOL mail reliably, as needed.
