This is a serious corruption in the Operating System of the phone.

First, try a reset by removing the battery and waiting 5 minutes.

Then put the battery back in and turn on the phone.

If you still have the problem, then a factory reset will be required. This is going to wipe all the data from the phone, but there is no way to avoid this.

to do this,

Make sure you have the latest version of the Blackberry Desktop Manager installed. You can install it from here

http://au.blackberry.com/services/desktop/

Once installed, run it and connect the phone to the computer

Then click on the Help button labeled with a question mark, then move the mouse over Support resources, and then click on Support tools

Click Factory Reset and let it run.

Once it completes, the error will then be resolved
