I want to install or move my current BIS which is installed

I want to install or move my current BIS which is installed on my Blackberry Bold onto my Samsung Sii. I am currently paying for my BIS service and would like to use the BIS program on the Samsung Sii phone. Would I be able to install the BIS service on the Samsung Sii, I am using my simcard on which the BIS service was originally loaded in the Samsung Sii phone.

I wonder if you are confusing some terms. BIS stands for Blackberry Internet Service - as suggested in the name, it is only available on the Blackberry. Are you simply looking to have your email on your Samsung device?

Hi Brandon, my explanation is quite clear that is the reason why I was prepared to pay for the answer. I am more than of the service that is linked to the use of a blackberry. I started to use a Samsung Sii as my regular phone and is exploring how can I use BIS on my Samsung Sii phone, I am paying for the BIS service per month, although I do not use the BIS service to acces the internet. In view of the above read together with my initial reply, can you assist?

I had to activate a separate data bundle from my service provider to be used in my Samsung Sii phone, I am still not able to receive my e-mails in real time, on the Samsung Sii, as was the case on my Blackberry Bold phone, enabled with BIS. I changed to the Samsung Sii phone because the size of the Samsung screen and its inherit qualities enables me to see the e-mails and it's attachments better. The BIS is loaded by my service provider (MTN) on the same sim card I am using in the Samsung Sii. The monthly subscription cost of the internet access through the BIS remain to be paid by me monthly , I am a contract MTN user - That was the question

Ok, if you changed to the Samsung and have no wishes to go back to the Blackberry, you can cancel the BIS subscription and just stick with the data plan for the Samsung.

Depending on your email provider, emails should stream into the phone at real time unless the email provider doesn't support PUSH or IMAP

Check this link, http://forums.crackberry.com/general-discussion-f2/use-bis-data-plan-non-blackberry-smartphone-675512/ it is possible to use BIS on a non BlackBerry phone, restrictions exist, is it possible on MTN, that is the begging question, do we have to simulate a BB on the Samsung Sii? how or where do I adjust or set the streaming download of my e-mails on the Samsung Sii? I was asking these questions on JustAnswer, because I was not receiving my e-mails in real time on the Sii, in the crackberry page it apears that the use of BIS could be possible, can you help me with an answer, that deal with my request, as explained over the last few days, other than just to make a general comment, that I do not find of any logic assistance. I do not want to quarrel, I need an informed answer as a reply to what was initialy asked I would appreciate the attention. Regards. Dick

My apology, but Brandon what is your answer or reply?

1. My exspectations are based on the fact that an expert in the field would attend to the answering of my question.

2. I am now spending valuable time writing replies without making any positive progress towards a meaningful reply as to the question posted.

3. I suggest we forward the question to an alternative expert, Brandon is not giving me joy, his replies are without any substance.

4. If the problem is my question, please let me know and I would gladly review my effort.

5. In my view I made available links to explain why I am asking the question and in following up on the content of the link it would be clear that this very question is not so unique and far fetched. The solution could be determined by a number of unknown's

6. What is the way forward with the attempt to formulate a responsible reply to the initial question asked? Looking forward to your replies.

1. I am not sure what is the processing status of my question, am I supposed to be submitting more detail to explain my question or am I just waiting?

2. Could the moderator intervene by supplying me with some processing comments

3. It appears that it requires more skill to get an expert to comit than it took to formulate the question in anticipation that an expert would formulate the answer or reply

4. My idea was a simple question in exspectation of an evenly simple answer or reply

5. Looking forward to any replies, is that possible?
