Hello and thank you for contacting JustAnswer, a third party paid expert support site. My name is XXXXXXX XXX I'd be glad to assist you with your issue.
When did this issue start or has it never worked since you got it?
It has never worked at home. Where there is an ATT tower no problem. At home reception is not posssible. So I set up a wifi system. My laptop and magicjack plus work. The iphone shows wifi reception and gets mail and internet, not message or phone
Ah, I understand - so you have little/no AT&T reception at home, then?
In settings under general-About- it shows Network Not avialable
Ah, ok. What you would need is called an AT&T Microcell. What this does is use your internet connection at home to create an AT&T cell tower "in your house"
So, all you would need is a small piece of equipment, you plug it into your router and you would have AT&T service.
This is what you need: http://www.att.com/standalone/3gmicrocell/
You can order it online or stop by a store if you are close enough and just ask them for a Microcell
