I have a Nokia Lumia 710 phone & just recently I have been

I have a Nokia Lumia 710 phone & just recently I have been unable to download apps. Although I am logged into Windows Live a message appears which says "The Windows Live ID service is unavailable at the moment. Try again later". I have tried removing & reinserting the battery & sim card but this has not helped. All other phone functions work ok including access to the net & my emails. Local Telecom shop cannot help. can you please?

Removing battery & sim card for a minute & resetting. No luck!

Hi Freddy

I have had this problem for about two weeks now & still have it. The local Telecom shop & Nokia say it is a software problem & there is nothing wrong with the phone itself.

It sounds like you may have an issue being caused by the email settings.
On your phone, go to Settings…Email and Accounts

Press and hold on your ‘Windows Live’ account and click ‘Synchronise‘

An error message will appear in red that says ‘Attention Required’

Click on the ‘Windows Live’ account and enter the new password

Synchronise again and that normally will fix the error.

If it does not try this next go into Settings and then Time + Date.

Untick the ” automatic” option and then select the correct country you are in.

After that reset phone by holding down volume key and on button while the phone is off.
