We bought a Briggs and Stratton power washer last year.

Customer Question

We bought a Briggs and Stratton power washer last year. Tried to use it today and it won't start. This model does not have a choke or a pump bulb -- when my husband took out the spark plug it seems that gas is not getting as far as the plug. Any suggestions?
JA: Do you have fuel in the tank? If so, is the shut-off valve open and the fuel clean?
Customer: Fuel is clean and fresh -- where is the shutoff valve?
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: Beats waiting to talk to Briggs and Stratton tomorrow, or hauling it in to Lowes for them to send out for weeks
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: Is there a fuel filter?

Hello, there is probably an auto choke on the engine.Remove the air filter and spray a little carb cleaner directly into the carb too see if it fires. Can you give me the engine numbers?. Look above the muffler stamped into the metal
