I have a very old Jiffy auger (not sure of yr. or mod. #)

Customer Question

I have a very old Jiffy auger (not sure of yr. or mod. #) ,but it has a "stick on the side rather than the newer "handles" on both sides. I took the cover off because the rope on the rewind wouldn't go back in. Also the "cogs" don't want to catch to engage the starter. When I took the cover off some pieces fell out. There are two round doughnut shaped pieces with a screw & a spring . Can you tell me how to get these back in the right order. I think it just needs a little oil or grease. I don't think the recoil spring is broke. It just got stuck. Thanks, Don
