Hi,

This vehicle is designed to not start if the gas pedal is depressed.

To clarify, will it start normally without touching the pedal at all?

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
Not instantly
Expert:  Jared D replied 3 months ago.

How many miles do you have on the vehicle?

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
6000
Expert:  Jared D replied 3 months ago.

6k miles?

So the truck is essentially brand new?

Does it sit a lot?

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
No , does it have an automatic choke
Expert:  Jared D replied 3 months ago.

This engine doesn't have a choke. It's fuel injected. Everything is electronically controlled.

Expert:  Jared D replied 3 months ago.

How long would you say you have to crank it before it starts?

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
This unit is a Polaris UTV, not a ford ranger,I would have thought it a simple question for a Polaris mechanic
Customer: replied 3 months ago.
As far as I know it will no start after 10 seconds
Expert:  Jared D replied 3 months ago.

Oh! That makes much more sense. For some reason the system has it listed as a Ford Ranger. I'm sorry. I'm an automotive mechanic, not a small engine mechanic. I'll opt out and see if a small engine mechanic is available to pick it up.
