Does the starter click? What is battery voltage? Can you turn the engine by hand, to insure the engine is not locked up? When did it last start and run?

Customer: replied 7 months ago.
No clicking. Voltage is good. Ran 30 minutes prior. Mower is brand new. Dealer is closed.

Battery cables tight? Can you follow the battery cable to the starter solenoid and jump the solenoid, to see if the engine will spin. Are the arms in the neutral position and neither arm switch stuck?

Customer: replied 7 months ago.
Arms are in proper position. Have not tried to jump it
Expert:  Curtis B. replied 7 months ago.

Do you see the arm switches or hear them click? If any safety switch does not close, the starter will not engage. Seat, neutral switches, pto switch off.

Customer: replied 7 months ago.
pro off, all safety switches, what are the neutral switches
Expert:  Curtis B. replied 7 months ago.

neutral switches are the arm switches

Customer: replied 7 months ago.
Ok. I've sat in it with the key turned and moved the arms and all safety switches and nothing.

You don't have voltmeter to check battery voltage?

Customer: replied 7 months ago.
No but it has the led readout and it is reading good
Expert:  Curtis B. replied 7 months ago.

Try jumping the starter solenoid, which is test of battery, cables, and starter.

Customer: replied 7 months ago.
Ok. I will have to try that tomorrow and get back to you
