Loud squealing from differential only when moving. 2000 Troybilt garden tractor V809H. Removed disc brake assembly, thinking it was worn pads, but no difference. Is it a bearing? If so, which diff bearing is it?
JA: I'll do all I can to help. How long have you been dealing with this?
Customer: It occurred off and on. Now it is constant.
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?

Have you ruled out the two drive belts and the variable pulley that goes between the drive belts? Nothing rubbing on the drive pulleys? If it is not the belts or pulleys, you may find noise by raising tractor on the jack stands and run unit to see if you can determine side.
