the unit is a###-##-#### when unit warms up, the hydrostat loses power. the unit slows and finally won't move
JA: Did you double-check the thermostat? And what about the unit's filters?

The hydrostat could be low on oil, but there is no check plug. All you can do is add a small amount of fluid 15W50 engine oil, through the plug on the top of the transmission. # 13 in the link below.
