Do you have a straight or curve shaft unit?

So what you are going to is hold the area where the string coms out... the bump are you are going to push in and it should be reverse threads.. If you look at the picture the part that has the string you hold and the part on top of the string you need to push in and turn right to loosen..

If your head looks like the picture you dont lock the head you just have to hold it..

Mine broke so I want to put a new grass gator head on but the nut on the shaft is to long

you might have to put a wrench on it.. or a deep socket to remove it..
