My 43903 Generac guardian starts and runs fine but the 120 V

Customer Question

My 43903 Generac guardian starts and runs fine but the 120 V AC outlets do not work. The unit is not currently connected to the house. How can I get the outlets to work?

To get the power in to your house, the genset must be connected through an approved safety device such as a transfer switch, or a generator interlock.

Either one can be installed by a licensed electrician.

I would recommend an automatic transfer switch.
