What is the brand of your mower?

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
troybuilt 26j mini rider
Expert:  Donald replied 2 months ago.

Thanks for this information. On the mini riders, there is a safety switch for your black plastic discharge chute. If your black plastic discharge chute becomes misaligned, it no longer depresses the button on your safety switch, therefore preventing your engine from starting.

took it off and replaced

Expert:  Donald replied 2 months ago.

Did you see the safety switch I am referring to?

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
Never mind my neighbor saw me outside double checking that switch for the 4th time still no start said he had a similar problem he replaced the fuse for me and its working.
Expert:  Donald replied 2 months ago.

No problem. Checking the switch was just a starting point for troubleshooting. I do hope all continue to go well for you.
