Customer Question

I just changed the oil in my YT4000 lawn tractor. It won't start without using starting fluid. Even then, it only runs for a couple of seconds.

It's either blocked up the carb or has losened gunk that has blocked up the carb . Was it running bad before this

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
It sat for several weeks, but it ran normally when I cut the yard a few days ago. I didn't really see any problems until I did the oil change.

Is there anything I can do without having to remove the carbureator?
Expert:  Briggs-Fan replied 3 months ago.
Most likely not , you can try draining the bowl , do you have your engine info handy
