My CC Lt 1045 - was mowing and must stop moving. Took
It to our local repairman and said it was the transmission ! Could it be the bearings on the pulley, belt or some other simple repair ?

See Link above, see if the top pulley and fan are turning on the transmission when the engine is running. If the belt is turning, it is not a belt problem. Will mower roll in freewheel, indicating brakes are not locked? I find few transmission just stop. Much more likely the belt is off a pulley or broken!
