Belt is engaged by electric clutch. So belt stays on pulleys at all times. Is the belt tight on the pulleys, checked with engine off, key on and pto switch engaged? Belt has t be tight enough it does not slip on the pulleys. The belt has tension spring on the idler to keep belt tight. Is the idler spring keeping idler tight against the belt?
I am getting conflicting pictures of the belt engagement. One shows electric clutch, then on the deck I see a cable, which indicates the engagement is with a lever?
