Customer Question

I have a craftsman 16" chainsaw. Last year I replaced the fuel lines and carburetor. How do I adjust the T, L, and H fuel adjustments? The engine starts and runs with the choke lever fully out, but dies as soon as I try to move it to the halfway position.

most likely it will need a new carb kit again even though its only a year old.

When you adjust the carb, you are just tricking it to run, and can cause damage to the piston and cylinder.

Factory settings are normally 1 1/4 - 1 1/2 turns outwards from all the way in start point.

the throttle will be set to where throttle plate is on the tip of the screw
