I have to step out so I will opt out, another expert will be with you shortly

This is a .3 horsepower pump. Any generator with over 3000 watts will power this small pump. You may want something larger to power lights and refrigerator when power goes out, like a 5000 or 5500 watt.

Any generator with 5000 watts will run your pump, and also your refrigerator and lights. You pump will pull less than 15 amps!
